The KHS SixFifty 6600+ is a capable machine designed around modern technical trails. It features a full carbon frame with internal cable routing, 160mm of plush rear suspension, and a burly Fox Float 36 fork to tackle everything from big-mountain enduro to rowdy backcountry exploration. Integrated armor in the downtube protects against kicked-up rocks, and a metal plate on the driveside chainstay guards against chainslap. Tubeless-ready WTB Scraper i35 rims paired with Kenda Regolith Pro tires deliver striking traction across a variety of terrain, and Shimano hydraulic disc brakes put loads of power in your fingertips for precise control on technical descents. A 11-speed drivetrain with Shimano XT rear derailleur employs a wide gear range in a compact package with tenacious chain retention so you don't have to worry about dropping a chain in the rough stuff. And, a KS Suspension Rage-i dropper post puts you in the best stance for speed or efficiency with a quick flip of the handlebar-mounted lever.

A dropper seatpost allows you to quickly lower and raise your seat to give you an ideal riding position. Dropping your seat creates a lower center of gravity for better control and maneuverability on steep descents, while raising it puts you at normal riding height for efficient pedaling.

Construction can include either hydraulic- or cable-actuated systems and the post’s travel can either be infinitely adjustable or stopped at set intervals, depending on the model.

Dropper seatposts come in standard lengths and diameters and vary by the amount of travel.
